Electric Showers
Electric showers do not use hot water, and instead take only cold water from the mains water supply. When you turn on the shower, water is passed over a heating element to deliver a shower at your preferred flow rate and temperature. You do not need a stored hot water supply for this type of shower as it works independently from your hot water system.

Power Showers
A shower that uses a pump to boost the flow of water to give a powerful shower spray (flow rate). Generally used where there is insufficient water pressure. Suitable for use with gravity fed water systems or generally suitable for people who like a powerful shower!

Mixer Showers
Mixer showers use a valve to combine / mix the domestic hot and cold water supplies to provide the required temperature and flow. Mixer showers are ideal for gravity fed systems, combi boilers and high pressure unvented systems.

Digital Mixer Showers
Take showering to the new level with a digital mixer shower from Redring. By utilising the latest wire-free technology, a handheld remote-control, controls a separate thermostatic mixer unit that blends your cold and hot water to your desired temperature and flow. The base unit can be installed up to 10 metres away from the showering area, either in a ceiling, wall or under the bath, which makes installation easy. There are two types of Digimix thermostatic base unit available depending on whether your water system is high or low pressure: un-pumped and pumped. The pumped version contains a booster pump integrated into the base unit to ensure you get a powerful shower regardless of the pressure from your gravity fed water system.
